The appropriate level of care depends on clinical needs, stability, support at home and day-to-day responsibilities.
Partial hospitalization / day treatment
PHP sits between residential and outpatient care. Participants live at home and attend a highly structured schedule for several hours on most treatment days.
Intensive outpatient
IOP provides focused group and individual treatment while allowing appropriate participants to maintain commitments to family, work or school.

Outpatient therapy
A lower-intensity level of support, often used as a step down after PHP or IOP to reinforce recovery skills and accountability.

Medication-assisted treatment
For some participants, licensed medical professionals may use medication alongside counseling and recovery services. This option is not appropriate for everyone and requires an individual clinical assessment.
